CARE, CLEARLY EXPLAINED

Relief starts with understanding.

A healthy tear film keeps the surface of your eyes comfortable and supports clear vision. Dry eye can occur when there are not enough tears or when tears evaporate too quickly. Eyelid health, medications, screen use, and your environment can all play a role.

Dr. Morshedi evaluates the eye surface and contributing factors to help guide care. Depending on your needs, options may include lubricating drops, eyelid care, prescription treatment, or tear-conserving approaches such as punctal plugs. The right plan depends on an examination; no single treatment is right for everyone.

Why do dry eyes sometimes water?

Irritation can trigger extra reflex tears, but these may not provide the lasting lubrication your eyes need. An examination can help distinguish dry eye from allergies, infection, or other causes of watering.
